The company had successfully forged an alliance with Pioneer
International Holdings Property Limited, an Australian based
multinational company.

In the 1998 financial year, SungeiWay incurred a group pre-tax loss
of RM148.5 million while the group's turnover was RM761.5 million.

The second contract involves the construction of 1,1 32 units of medium-low cost apartments
and ancillary facilities at Bandar Baru Puncak Alam. Work on this RM35.3 project
is expected to begin in August this year and to be completed by March 001.

The third contract worth RMl 5.3 million is for the construction of 560 units of low-cost flats
at Bandar Mahkota, Cheras. Work is expected to begin in June this year
