was held on 10-11 June 1999 in Kuala Lumpur, and was attended bJ
senior government officials as well as corporate leaders.
The Group Managing Director of SungeiWay, Dato' Chew Chee Kin together with Tunku Tan Sri Ahmad
Yahaya, Deputy Chairman of Sime Darby Bhd, Mr Francis Anthony, Finance Director of Sime Darby
Malaysian Region, Encik Che Azizuddin Che Ismail, Senior Vice President, KP Asia Auto Logistic Sdn Bhd
and Encik Plan Sukro, Vice President - Ventures Division of Tenaga Nasional Bhd, addressed the
delegates during the CEO presentation on "Business Restructuring to Achieve Effective Transformation"
The panellists shared their experiences and insights concerning reform and restructuring activities in theij
respective organisations as well as strategies in dealing with changes in management.
The delegates also witnessed the launching of Tan Sri Ramon Navaratnam's latest book entitled 'Heaiin
the Wounded Tiger: How the Turmoil is Reshaping Malaysia", by Encik Ali Abdi
Kadir. It was Tan Sri Navaratnam's third book in a series of publication!
mm, dealing with the Malaysian economy. Tan Sri is the Group Adviser of
the SungeiWay Group and director of ASLI.
