10 years-service award from Group
Managing Director, Dato' Jeffrey
Cheah. Dato' Jeffrey Cheah also
presented a 'surprise' to Dato' Seri
Dr Ling Liong Sik. The surprise, a
$100,000 cheque, was SungeiWay
Group's contribution towards the Dato' and Datin Jeffrey
Tunku Abdul Rahman College Trust Cheah receiving guests of

Soon after, Leonard Tan, the Datin Seri Ena Ling
one-man band got the ball rolling
and had guests in stitches with his
mimicks of Elton John, Louis
Armstrong and other popular
singers.
The 1,600 guests were also
entertained by the Singing Shop
who did a great repertoire of oldies
and modern songs. The well known
singing banker, Tan Sri Dato'
Azman Hashim, who is the Chair-
man of Arab-Malaysian Merchant
Bank Group, sportingly rendered
a song too.
The highlight of the evening
was a powerful performance by
singer Sharon Ng. This was followed
by the much awaited event - the
lucky draws. Lady luck smiled on
some staff members who won them-
selves hampers, electrical items and Fr. L : Tan Sri Dato' Muhd. Yusuff bin Haji Muhd. Yunus,
even tickets to Bangkok and Hong Datin Seri Ena Ling, Dato' Musa Hitam,
Kong. Dato' Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik, Dato' Jeffrey Cheah,
Datin Zulaika, Tan Sri Dato' Azman Hashim
