Never too late to learn the English Language

Thirty (30) SungeiWay Group's security
personnels attended a two months conversational
English Language course conducted at Sunway
College.

Certificates of Attendance were awarded to all
participants while 11 were awarded Certificates
of Merit for their outstanding performances.
Salahuddin bin Y. A. Abdulla emerged top of his
class and his comments were "/ am more
confident to converse in English now. Given the
opportunity, I would like to attend more of such NEVER BETTER! 'Class of 30' with their lecturers Ms Mar;,

CLERICAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP FOR

SUNWAY COLLEGE STAFF

In line with TQM (Total Quality Management),
Ms Helen Lee of Sunway College Human
Resource Department, organised a workshop for
our clerical staff.

Sixteen (16) clerical staff attended a two-day
workshop o 24th May and 21st June. Topics

covered during the two full-day sessions were
time management, positive work attitude, stress
management, relaxation techniques, creative
problem solving, discussion on issues of interest
and concerns regading workplace commitments,

among others. Whew!

The workshop was conducted by Associate

Professor T Vasudevan. Some participants said
the relaxation techniques topic was the most
interesting as they did not know it is just as
important to relax to enable one to work harder!
