JUDGEMENT FROM AN ENGLISH LAW STUDENT
SUNWAV COLLEC E
Firstly, we, the future graduates of
Leicester University, would like to thank
Dato' Jeffery Cheah for starting Sunway
College and having the twinning degree
programme with the Law Faculty. Dato'
Cheah has also supported and subsidised
the Annual Law Society Dinner which was
held at the Petaling Jaya Hilton, a few
weeks ago.
Furthermore, The Sungei^ay Group
has contributed M$400,000 towards the law
books of the Sunway College hbrary. As
a result, various reviews, reports, journals,
textbooks, etc., are now at our disposal.
In a few weeks' time, our first Sunway
Law Review will come out and with the
support of everyone concerned, we expect
it to be a tremendous success.
Generally, Sunway College, is a
blessing to us all. The opportunity given to
us is deeply appreciated, much more so
since the decUne in the country's economy,
the rise of tuition fees abroad and the
unfavourable exchange rate between the
United Kingdom and Malaysia. Part of the $400,000 Law collection
