Sunway College 9th Academic Board Meeting
One way of maintaining superior standards and
improving on tliem at Sunway College is the
annual meeting of minds. This year's Academic
Board Meeting which was held on 15th May,
brought together senior officials of Sunway
College's specially selected University twinning
partners, top management of Sunway College
and the SungeiWay Group management. The
Board members and representatives once again
met to evaluate past performances and map out
future directions for the programmes to meet the The distinguished members and representativ

Sunway College Caring/or Creation Campaign
Amidst the busy schedule of examinations, be big, but to the earnest young students in
Sunway College students and staff successfully Sunway College who have passionately engaged
concluded the Caring for Creation Campaign. in a month long of fund raising, it is a gift from
their hearts.
The Campaign, which was officially launched
on 23rd April by Y B Datin Paduka Zaleha Ismail,
the Minister of National Unity and Social
Development, was initiated by Sunway College
to raise awareness levels of the staff and students
on the need to care and respect all creation.
The month long campaign encouraged the
students and staff to adopt a caring attitude
towards the underprivileged, be aware of social YB Datin Paduka Zaleha Ismail touring the

A total sum of RMS,269 was collected through
a series of fund raising activities such as car
washes, food and fun fair and a charity concert.
A blood donation drive was also held at the
College premises which saw a total of 145 staff
and students doing their bit to help level-up the
blood bank at University Hospital. Mr Fan Ah Ch\e. the first hlood donor, WM

A short cheque presentation was held on 29 June,
to hand over RM2.634.50 to Encik Razwan Yeow
Abdullah, who received the cheque on behalf of
his daughter, Farisha Edreena, who has a heart
disorder. The other recipient of the same amount
was Mr Vijayan, whose three children suffered
from muscular dystrophy.
